Traveling in Style
A sparkling silver Chevy Uplander, the innovative crossover sports van, is the new transportation for our families, thanks to a donation from participating local Chevrolet dealers."This vehicle will be such a service to our families to transport them to and from medical appointments and necessary errands," said Teddy Thomas, executive director of Ronald McDonald House. "With the aid of volunteer drivers, we'll also be able to offer more recreational activities, a must for families dealing with the stress of a sick child and being so far away from home, often for months at a time"

Now that we have this roomy vehicle, we're seeking volunteer drivers to transport families to nearby Philadelphia hospitals for medical visits and treatments for children and other appointments, as well as to recreational activities.
