Around the House Volunteers:

Volunteers play a vital role in making our Ronald McDonald House of SNJ into a home for our families. They help with a variety of tasks, all connected with the daily operations of the House. Volunteers work with the House staff in the mornings, afternoons and evenings for 2-3 hour shifts. Responsibilities include:

• Giving tours of the House
• Interacting with families
• Answering the telephone and doors
• Assisting community groups with meals and activities
• Assisting office staff with mailings & event planning
• Checking rooms, helping with linens & towels
• Gardeners to help prune and plant in our ever growing garden
• Handy Persons to help fix broken items
• Pantry partners to help pick up food and stock the pantry

• Morning Helpers All Year Long
  Come to the Ronald House one day a week from 9 - 11 AM to help around the House. Wipe counters, straighten magazines, fluff pillows, etc. and meet and talk to many families staying here

  Evening Helpers All Year Long
  Come to the Ronald House one night a week from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Help our resident manager with the families, the dinner preparations or do tours and check ins. A great opportunity to help the many families that have the need to stay at the Ronald House.

Butchers, Bakers.. Julia Child or Not.. We need you!

Do you love to cook? Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks are all needed here at the Ronald McDonald House. You can cook at home and bring in your treats or you can arrange a time to join us at the House to cook in the Ronald House kitchen. The families who stay at the House really enjoy the nourishment provided by our Family Meals Volunteers. Won’t you join them in their task? To arrange a drop-off or an in-house meal preparation, please call Dorothy, our House Manager at 856-966-4663.

Event Volunteers:

Our year round event schedule requires the assistance of hundreds of volunteers to help make the day(s) run smoothly. If you would like to participate in an upcoming event please click here for a complete listing of the upcoming events.

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers. Whether you come to cook for our families, help around the office, collect wish list items, work at a golf tournament, or sit and talk with our families, YOU ARE NEEDED.
